With best-selling author Jodie Berndt
Thursday, April 12 | 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | The Commons
As we finish our Winter/Spring session of Bible studies, we want to highlight what the Lord has done and is doing in our church family. We will also welcome author Jodie Berndt, who will use the book of Nehemiah to encourage us to "guard the gates" and build our families in a culture that is not always friendly to God's people, so that our lives are a testimony to God's glory, marked by perseverance and prayer, even when life is hard.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Worship | A Message from Jodie | Lunch & Fellowship
The event is free, but please RSVP by Thursday, April 5. Don't wait!
Jodie Berndt is a popular speaker and the author of several books, including Praying the Scriptures for Your Children, Praying the Scriptures for Your Teens, and The Undertaker’s Wife (a poignant and funny memoir she wrote with her pal, Dee, who is an expert on surviving the loss of someone you love). The mother of four grown children, Jodie has been married to Robbie, her University of Virginia sweetheart, for 30 years. They live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Childcare is offered for this event for a minimal charge of $5.00. Children MUST be registered (via link above) no later than April 5. We will not be able to accept walk-ins.
