“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.” - 2 Peter 3:18

It has been so encouraging to see how God has blessed, as we have been intentional in reading and memorizing His Word this past year!

We want to continue to build into our lives this discipline of feeding on God’s Word, for our good and His glory.  In 2015, we focused on the grand teachings of Romans 8.  For the coming year, we will focus on the words of Jesus as recorded in John chapter 15.  Let us press on to grow in our faith, as we learn to abide in Him and bear fruit for the glory of God.

1. Read all the way through the Bible systematically.

Select a reading plan. You may use the translation of your choice or use a Bible that is already divided into daily readings for the year.

2. Meditate upon and memorize John, chapter 15.

Even if you have difficulty memorizing verses, God will bless your investment of meditating on each verse daily. View the memorization schedule for focusing on the 27 verses of this chapter and print the weekly verses that can be cut out.

3. Join one of our weekly Bible studies.

See the full list of options and details for each on our Bible Studies page.

4. Sign up for encouragement and camaraderie on this journey.

Subscribe to receive periodic emails and get connected to other women who are also embarking on this venture in 2016.

So many of us are visual learners. What better way to learn your John 15 verses than through pretty pieces of artwork? Click on a verse to view and download a free piece of art.

Beautifully True

For your encouragement and enjoyment, here is a three-minute feature video produced by Desiring God, in which we see God’s glory on the canvas of Scripture, a book that is completely and beautifully true.

WOW 2015 Report

Jan Yancey, an Apostles member, let us know that she had memorized all of Romans chapter 8, and she recited it for us (and a camera crew!) on December 9, 2015. She was quick to give the Holy Spirit every bit of the glory in helping her accomplish this. We hope that it will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as you memorize!
