An Invitation to Bless Babies in Israel
Our church is Israel-bound in May! Our group will not only walk where Jesus walked, but we will help women and their children who have very little by bringing suitcases filled with baby items. All are invited to donate brand-new things for these little Jewish ones, in Jesus’ name.
What they need:
- New clothes (newborn to 9 mos)
- Receiving blankets
- Coats, shoes, gloves, caps
- Baby Orajel
- Diaper rash ointment
- Hooded bath towels
- Extra-large zip lock bags (2 ft X 1.7 ft)
Suitcases will be set out by Room 616 (Jimmy Goolsby's Sunday School class) to collect your donations each Sunday, from April 1, through Mother’s Day, May 13. Let’s shower these families with His love!
Share the Love of God with a prisoner!
We would like to invite you to collect any hotel soaps, lotions, and shampoos you encounter in your travels and donate them to the prison ministry!
- Soap (hotel size and larger)
These items can be dropped off at the Women’s Ministry area of the Welcome Desk in the narthex. If you have any questions about items that you want to contribute, please contact Susan Hooker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Calling All Cooks!
The SAY Yes! Center, a Christ-centered after-school program in midtown Atlanta, is in need of simple, nutritious meals throughout the school year. Volunteer today to prepare dinner for approximately 25 children on a one-time basis or even once a month. This is a great service project for all ages and stages and a perfect small group activity. Not a cook? Consider donating the cost of a meal.
